I was busy typing away on dissertation revisions when I noticed a mist spread across the front of my laptop screen and surround me in a blanket of cool wetness. The mist was part of a cloud. The problem? I was not outside.
Fran (my boss and author of the "Hurry the F*ck Up, Dissertation Version" storybook that some of you have read) had left the back door of our office open for some fresh air. With the fresh air, came a cloud, which prompted me to yell,
"Fran!!!! There's a cloud in the office. Close the door!!"
She responded, "Oh, Alright," before shutting the door with slight annoyance.
Damn clouds. Where do they think they are? A cloud forest?
